Analysis of student work

Sharon-Lam (part of Vinh Nguyen's group), has some very interesting sections. The section that this student has used, positively describes the chosen noun from artist Gascoignes' work of "woodblocks," with many interlocking rectangles and squares. One way however that the Sketchup model can be improved is the use of other tools than "push-pull." It seems as this student has created the front face and pushed pulled it out to the same length. It may be good to try other tools such as "follow me," "arc" etc to "fool" the viewer into what the 3D image looks like. It may also be beneficial to play with the different block sizes to create this "woodblocks" effect, which would allow the viewer to further feel the space and hence possibly achieving a higher grade. Overall, a neat and effective layout.
