Note about environment: When I imported the 2 elevators, there were glitches in my environment. I have removed the “tubes” from the original Prada elevator idea as the environment became extremely warped. The most affected space is the Obama office, so you may have to “fly” the second time around... However you can see the designs clearly in my Sketchup file and images.

3 Articles Task 3
Barack Obama
I will cut taxes - cut taxes - for 95 percent of all working families, because, in an economy like this, the last thing we should do is raise taxes on the middle class.

Miuccia Prada
Desperation and luxury are mortal enemies. Fear and power do not peacefully coexist. It follows, then, that she who wishes to reach the most rarefied and potent ranks of fashion, whether in dealmaking or designing, must have a certain serenity. A certain above-the-fray quality. And a flat-out disregard for what you think. Which brings us to Miuccia Prada... Her power, first manifested in the minimal black nylon backpack draped over every influential arm in the '90s, also became incarnate in such celebrities as Uma Thurman, twirling down the red carpet in ethereal Prada-designed Oscar gowns.

Madonna
The webcast of her gig at Brixton Academy in 2000 was watched by over 9 million people worldwide. Her record company Maverick set up in 1992 has helped raise her fortune to an estimated $600m (£350m). In 2002, Madonna received an entry into the Encyclopaedia Britannica as a modern day icon of pop. The 45-year-old has sold over 140 million albums, making her the most successful female artiste ever.

3 Quotes
Jacques Cousteau:
“Every morning I wake up saying, I'm still alive; a miracle. And so I keep on pushing.”

Alfred Nobel:
"Hope is nature's veil for hiding truth's nakedness."
http://quotationsbook.com/quote/19469/
Keith Campbell:
"Cloning may be good and it may be bad. Probably it's a bit of both. The question must not be greeted with reflex hysteria but decided quietly, soberly and on it's own merits. We need less emotion and more thought"

RESEARCH ON ARTISTS
TRACEY MOFFATT
Tracey Moffatts’ image is from a still film called “Night Cries, A Rural Tragedy,” which is made with a technique that consists of 13 large photo silk screens, overlaid with one and other to create different colours and textures. The silk screens are brought in and out of the movie, with people and real life objects placed thoughtfully in the different pictures. The use of paintings and 3D objects works well together, adding a sense of vibrancy to the movie. The photograph was shot on a New York sound-stage with an actor, props, lighting, and backdrops.
FIONA HALL
Fiona Halls’ artwork “Tender,” is a piece consisting of many one dollar American bills, shredded up finely to create different shaped “bird nests,” which all declares the words “This note is legal tender.” The symbolism of the bird nest made out of dollar bills is that American money is the most desired currency for third world countries, and for those desperate enough, scavenge around for these green bills to provide their shelter. This artwork also looks into modernisation, capitalism, and deforestation, as so much wildlife is losing their homes in this day and age.
